About Taziri

We are an environmentally conscious, Amazigh owned brand. All our models are bare faced, and not airbrushed. This is to avoid encouraging unrealistic beauty standards. As well as this we want to represent realistic beauty standards and make our customers feel comfortable bare faced in their hijabs. 

What is Amazigh?

An Amazigh person, or Imazighen people are the indigenous people of North Africa. We are often referred to as "berber" however this is a derogatory term, which not many people are aware of!

So how are we environmentally conscious?

Our hijabs are packaged in recycled tissue paper and mailers. We wanted our thank you cards to also be made out of recycled card however, it has been difficult to find recycled card that can be printed well on.

As of now our thank you cards are not made of recycled materials, but we are working on this! We aim to make our brand as sustainable as possible, and to encourage sustainability. It is our duty to take care of the earth, and also an Islamic responsibility. If anyone knows any useful sustainable resources please do contact us and tell us about them!
